Founded in 1922, Eastward Ho! Country Club today offers some of the most exceptional facilities, services and golfing conditions in our industry. Events Intern

 Eastward Ho! is currently seeking one passionate, hardworking Hospitality undergraduate student to be our Events Intern for the 2019 season.

Our Events Intern will work very closely with our Food & Beverage Manager, Restaurant Manager as well as our Special Events Coordinator, and Dining Services Captain. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Setting up and breaking down of private events as well as Member functions
  • Serving as banquet servers or captain as needed
  • Performing banquet related set-up tasks, developing detailed plans for each event, reviewing table diagrams, guest tables and other function room set-up needs for special functions
  • Diagramming buffet tables, guest tables and other function room set-up needs for special events
  • Creating advertising materials, maintaining buffet equipment inventory, etc.


The candidate should be currently enrolled in a Hospitality Management program. Ideal candidate for this position must have an eye for detail and have a passion for the Event Planning Industry. Our Events Intern must be willing to fulfill all roles in the front-of-the-house area as needed and present him/herself as a "team player."
