Founded in 1922, Eastward Ho! Country Club today offers some of the most exceptional facilities, services and golfing conditions in our industry. Bartenders at Eastward Ho! are responsible for providing professional beverage service at any of our bars or special event functions. Other duties include stocking, cleaning, setting up and tearing down portable bars, and clean-up of area. Must be 18 years or older to apply. Some bartending experience required.

Essential Functions:

  • Inspect the bar prior to each shift to ensure that appropriate supplies and stock are ready for service.
  • Follows daily and weekly side work lists for proper maintenance of the bar.
  • Follow Eastward Ho's standard pour for alcoholic beverages.
  • Maintain pars of liquor, beer, wine, soda, juices and miscellaneous supplies.
  • Maintain and clean bar area and equipment.
  • Attend to nightly inventories & restocking of bottles.
  • Properly input all beverage charges into computer system and runs appropriate reports.
  • Work cooperatively with the wait staff to assure quality service to the membership & guests.
  • Maintain open communication with other bartenders alerting them of daily activity.
  • Maintain and replenish Ho! Cart regularly including food, drinks, napkins straws, cups and ice.
  • Properly impute all Ho! Cart charges for shift.
  • Inspect and receives liquor/wine delivery when necessary.
  • Make sure only approved staff members have access to bar area and all wastes/transfers are recorded properly.
  • Report any comments, complaints or malfunctions to management as soon as they occur.
  • Greet all members and guests and refers to them by name whenever possible.
  • Follow lock-up procedures specifically.
  • Attend all required meetings held.

Non-Essential Functions:

  • Review upcoming functions and sets up accordingly.
  • Receive deliveries and organizes store room areas.


Applicants should have at least a full year of bartending experience in the Food and Hospitality Industry. He or she must be honest and have fun at work while demonstrating the ability to work in a group or team atmosphere. To show extensive knowledge of drink recipes and demonstrate the ability to create standard cocktail drinks. Applicants should be detailed oriented and enjoy serving customers in a positive, friendly and courteous manner.
